Last week we were lucky enough to get tickets to the latest La Di Da Society event at Ralli Hall in Hove. It was an absolute blast!
This fabulous get-together is all about giving people over 60 a fun and friendly place to hang out, make new friends, and enjoy themselves – and enjoy themselves they did!
As soon as we arrived, Pam and Janette, our lovely table-mates, made sure we were taken care of. We got to sip on endless cups of tea from gorgeous vintage teacups and munch on a tasty spread of sandwiches and cakes.
While we enjoyed our tea, we were treated to some fantastic performances. The cabaret acts were top-notch, and the tunes kept rolling. The interactive dance sessions were a real hit, getting everyone moving whether they were sitting or standing.
The La Di Da Society has been running these events for five years now, picking up where the Posh Club left off. With thanks to the incredible Becca who is keeping the spirit alive and making each event special.
For just £10, you get a lovely afternoon tea, a glass of bubbly, and a raffle ticket with a chance to win some cool prizes. The venue is fully accessible, so everyone can join in the fun. These events are perfect for tackling loneliness and helping older folks feel part of the community, stay active, and most importantly, have a great time.
