Dad La Soul is a revolutionary grassroots movement that uses arts, music, tech, and play to combat social isolation among dads and children. They organise exciting Saturday morning playdates for dads, stepdads, granddads, and male carers who want to spend quality time with their kids, learn new skills, and meet like-minded people. The group offers two new VR headsets at every indoor session, allowing participants to explore different places, times, planets, and more—all from their base in Worthing. It’s a place that fosters inspiring ideas and conversations for both kids and dads.

The venue also features a private outdoor area and a sensory room for both adults and children to enjoy.

You can also expect soft play, old-school tunes, crafting, Lego, dress-up, and free drinks/snacks. Venue is Methold House, unless stated above. NOTE: The entrance to Methold House is round the back, next to the car park.

For updates on themes, attendees are encouraged to check the Dad La Soul Facebook group @DADLASOUL.

Dad La Soul has a fantastic HQ in central Worthing, offering free parking, a garden, three rooms, a big screen, and a café. It’s like the dad equivalent of women going to the toilet together at the pub—only the kids are invited. It’s a safe space for dads and kids to unwind, share some laughs, and seek support. Suitable for children aged 0-10.
