Empowering local communities to thrive

Small actions, big changes

At the Enjoolata Foundation, we believe that little things can lead to big changes. We’re all about supporting local community projects that build resilience, inclusivity, and sustainability in East Sussex.

By offering funding, skill-based training, and wellbeing support, we help community change-makers create lasting impacts.

Funding and support

We want to make funding easy and flexible, ensuring your project gets the support it needs right when it needs it. From helping community hubs thrive to developing innovative apps, our financial assistance is designed to bring your vision to life.

Skills building and collaboration

We’re big believers in learning and working together. Our workshops, training sessions, and events in Lewes and Brighton can help you gain new skills and make connections. Join our friendly, supportive network where ideas can grow and flourish!

We’re inspired by our partners’ amazing stories, and we know that real change starts within grassroots communities. Whether it’s the Brighton Table Tennis Club bringing people together through sport, Bramber Bakehouse offering therapeutic baking to survivors, or Lovebrook connecting people with nature, our partnerships show how local actions can make a huge difference.

Partner voices

Your wellbeing is important to us. We support our partners with activities that boost team morale and individual health, setting the stage for sustainable growth and effective action.

We understand that to care for others, you must first care for yourself. That's why we emphasise the importance of self-care and mental health. By nurturing our partners, we empower them to better support their communities.

Caring is at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to create an environment where everyone can thrive.

Wellbeing and community resilience

  • "We see Enjoolata going above and beyond - they work from the heart with genuine care for our welfare and wellbeing while being strongly committed to creating connections with others involved in change-making and together we walk the path of longer term, often ambitious, social change."

    The Launchpad Collective

  • “Enjoolata Foundation’s approach to supporting small charities is visionary and HOMELINK has benefitted in so many ways from their involvement, allowing us to widen our remit and address more real issues in and around the Lewes District for which very many individuals and families are most grateful.”

    Homelink

  • “The value of being an Enjoolata partner extends so much further than financial support; it is being part of a welcoming, supportive community, a well-being focussed team who genuinely want the best for us, and a network of like-minded organisations to inspire, collaborate and strengthen us.”

    Conversation Over Borders

  • “The support we have had from the Enjoolata Foundation has been remarkable. In the early stages of the pandemic when funding was extremely difficult for the charity, they stepped in with some much needed support for Patchwork Farm, our therapeutic care farm, which has been a life-saver during the pandemic for our residential young people.”

    Chailey Heritage

  • “Sewing is a language in itself and new materials and threads enable the voices of our women to be heard as well as providing much needed resources to make pretty clothes and decorate their homes.”

    The Network for International Women

  • “The memorial project gives everyone involved, especially those who have been homeless, the opportunity to express their grief and loss. It also gives others who may not have had the same experience some enlightenment as to the lives of those they see in doorways every day. It will ultimately serve as a vehicle for education and understanding.”
