Eligibility

Who is eligible to apply for funding?

Due to high demand, we are currently offering grants to our existing partners only to ensure we can provide the highest level of support and maintain our own wellbeing.

We welcome applications from the following:

  • not-for-profit organisations (e.g., local community groups)

  • individuals

  • charities

  • voluntary groups

  • social enterprises

Applicants should aim to positively impact their community, people, or the environment.

Applicants are not required to be a registered UK charity. However, a bank account in the organisation’s name, like a community bank account, is necessary for successful funding.

In certain instances, funding may be considered for personal bank accounts, subject to assessment on a case-by-case basis.

Who is not eligible to apply for funding?

  • Projects not registered or actively operating in the BN postcode area.

  • Projects promoting political activities or movements.

  • Projects promoting religion (although faith-based organisations are welcome to apply if their project does not emphasise religious promotion).

  • For-profit organisations or initiatives.
