You are eligible for a grant if you are:
a registered charity
a Community Interest Company (or CIC)
an individual funding a not-for-profit project, primarily to benefit a community or with a view to pursuing an environmental cause or social purpose rather than to make a profit for self-interest.

It’s important to us that you use this money for whatever will be most beneficial to your organisation, be that core costs, salaries, new initiatives or existing projects. We hope that this flexibility will help towards making each organisation more sustainable!

Only when the studies or training relate directly to the charitable project which is being delivered under the terms of the grant.

We do not set up meetings before receiving an application. However, if you have any questions regarding your application, please email us.

You will receive an email confirming acknowledgement of your application submission. Your application will then be processed and reviewed. After 4-5 weeks you will receive a response informing you of whether or not your application has been put forward to the next stage. You may be invited to a Zoom meeting at this stage. Successful applicants will receive funding by the end of March following the application deadline.

We review every application; however, due to the number we receive, we cannot provide unsuccessful applicants with feedback.

If your application was unsuccessful, it could be due to there being other similar applications that we believe will have a more significant impact on the community and environment and/or benefit more from our financial support and additional services.

Yes, both successful and unsuccessful applicants are able to apply for future funding.

The funds are from the Enjoolata Foundation.

Successful applicants will receive funds via bank transfer to the bank account specified on their application within ten working days of notification of an award.

We believe in building lasting relationships. We are currently trialling longer-term financial support for select aligned partners to foster sustained impact. Please refer to our funding pages for more information.

It is rare we give funding above the amount specified on the application.

Our community grants exclusively support charitable projects in the BN area.
We currently have partnerships with organisations in Kenya, Nepal and the Maldives. However, there is no application form for projects overseas, meaning we select and invite these organisations/projects internally.
