Who will deliver this workshop?

Our Workshop Leader for this session is Rebecca Kimber.

Rebecca Kimber is the CEO of create.net - a Brighton-based company that enables small business owners to design their own website. With carbon-neutral hosting, fast to use drag-and-drop website-building tools, and no need for code or jargon, it has been a popular choice with many thousands of small business owners in the UK since 2001.

Rebecca is an expert on websites and online marketing with over 25 years’ experience in the industry. She is passionate about having a positive impact on the planet, and has been making changes to Create.net over the last year to reduce its footprint and help small business owners have a website that is better for the environment.

Who is hosting this workshop? Why women only?

Clare Griffiths is hosting this workshop. She is the Founder of Thrive, and wants to address the gender imbalance in the small business world. In the UK, in 2021, only 21% of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with no employees were led by women (Business Statistics, House of Commons Library 2021).

Thrive is an impact-led business on a mission to enable female founders, creatives and changemakers gain the knowledge, clarity and community they need to grow a fulfilling, profitable and impactful business.
