A Wonderful Morning of Cake and Connection

Last month, we had the pleasure of bringing our community together for our much-anticipated Enjoolata Coffee Morning at The Depot.

The room was buzzing with friendly faces – some familiar, some new – and we were surrounded by some incredible local artwork as part of the Depot’s Surrealist Artwave exhibition. It was the perfect setting to spark conversations about creativity and self-expression!

It was a joy to listen to our inspiring guest speakers. Caroline Croft from Patina shared the amazing story behind their work in Lewes, using art and creativity to support children during their big transitions in life. Kate Cohen from It’s Our Planet Too followed with a heartfelt talk on how her initiatives are empowering the younger generation to take charge of our planet’s future. Both of them left us with a renewed sense of purpose and a lot to think about!

These mornings are a chance for changemakers to connect, swap ideas, and feel supported by others who are just as passionate. It’s a place to come together, recharge, and walk away feeling inspired and proud of the work we’re all doing to make a real difference. The energy in the room was truly uplifting! We saw new partnerships taking shape, creative ideas being shared, and lots of laughter around the tables.

It’s events like these that remind us what Enjoolata is all about – building a supportive community where everyone can thrive and contribute in their own unique way.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and contributed to such a warm, inspiring event. We’re already looking forward to the next one and can’t wait to see what unfolds as we continue to support and encourage each other in our shared mission.

If you’d like to join us for our next coffee morning, make sure you subscribe to our mailing list to keep up to date with all our wonderful Enjoolata events.

See you next time!
