Brighton Dolphin Trust
Their mission is to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises through a connected community of people with the expertise, capacity, and resources to act as the voice for cetaceans and their habitats locally, nationally, and internationally.
Brighton Table Tennis Club
Brighton Table Tennis Club (BTTC) has its own table tennis centre with 10 tables in Kemptown and runs 100 tables across the city in parks, squares, schools, sheltered housing schemes, a centre for homeless people, sports centres and a psychiatric hospital. It works in two prisons outside the city.
Chailey Heritage Trust
Chailey Heritage Foundation provides education and care services and is one of the UK’s leading centres for children and young people with complex neurodisabilities.
Children with Cancer Fund
CWCF was formed in July 1998 and is made up of a small voluntary group of family and friends with the main thought being to enable the children, and families of the children with cancer, to have a quality of life that we would hope to have ourselves.
Clocktower Sanctuary
A small staff team supported by 45 volunteers working together to make sure that no young person becomes part of the long-term homeless population.
Common Cause Co-operative
Common Cause is a not-for-profit social enterprise supporting the local community. We do this primarily through food growing projects and by supporting the local food growing economy in Sussex.
Conversations Over Boarders
Conversation Over Borders connects asylum seekers & refugees with volunteer tutors for free one-on-one online English conversation classes. This bridges borders through human connection while helping to build confidence in English speaking.
East Brighton Food Cooperative
Lock-down began and they were delivering meals by Monday 30th March and by the end of that week had provided 200 hot cooked meals for people as well as food parcels and fresh fruit and vegetables. By the middle of May they were providing over 1000 meals a week, after a year 6,000+ meals a week.
East Sussex Hearing
East Sussex Hearing is a small independent charity serving the deaf and hard of hearing community throughout East Sussex for over 20 years.
Emmaus Brighton & Hove
n the past 24 years Emmaus Brighton & Hove has provided a unique solution to combatting homelessness to over 1,200 Companions (residents) many of whom have complex needs.
Extratime
Extratime has become a lifeline for hundreds of families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and is now one of the largest specialist providers of inclusive play and leisure in Sussex.

Patina Lewes
Patina (Parents and Teachers in the Arts) was set up in 2001 by a group of parents and teachers in Lewes who were concerned that art was being given less emphasis in the national curriculum.
Pelican Parcels
Supplying free non-branded school uniforms, black school shoes and PE trainers to parents who need support with children attending City Academy Whitehawk, St Mark’s CE, Hertford Infant & Juniors, Queen’s Park Primary.
Pells Pool
The Pells Pool is an unheated pool and recognised as the oldest outdoor freshwater public pool in the country. Pells is a community, not for profit pool that has served the residents of Lewes and beyond for many years.
Pier to Pier
Pier to Pier interviewed people who live or work on the coast and worked with a coastal choir to create an immersive sound installation played from an audio bench travelling the Sussex Coast this summer.
Plant Stories (Gem)
We are an inclusive service working closely with local primary schools and women’s charity. Currently we are relying on local food providers and Fareshare for donations in order to provide some of the food the meals.
Ringmer Rovers FC
Ringmer rovers run football coaching sessions for youngsters from 6-16 all run by volunteer coaches who give up countless hours every year.
Safety Net
We are a children’s safety charity based in Brighton and working across the South East. We provide training, consultancy and resources nationally to those working with children and young people.
Shujaaz Inc
Shujaaz Inc, is a network of social ventures based in Nairobi and Dar Es Salaam. Their ventures inspire, entertain and mobilise 7.5 million 15-24-year-olds across East Africa.
